In the moment of publication of this artwork, project ScansUp ( https://scansup.com/ ) is officially online.
Can't say how happy I was when two game industry veterans (David Chumilla and Mateo Franco ) reached me with the proposition of joining their project. Goal is to create a space where people can find and buy photogrammetry assets made by experienced photogrammetry artists, meet high quality standards and are checked by people who work for industry many years. Of course, such thing gives some responsibilities and new challenges - and that upload is about it.
Over past 2 weeks I was not only revisiting old models, and remade them from source data with current knowledge and experience. Present updated versions not only have better baked maps (ArtEngine), way bigger variation of those, but decimation workflow changed much enough that allows go to range 400-700 poly without necessity of new texture sets - better poly count would be possible with hand retopo.
The second thing was to make everything as much bulletproof and "automated" as possible. All LOD are baked at once in Marmoset Toolbag, ArtEngine node tree (and templates) allowing quickly apply changes or generate stuff, and resaving system allows to create at once any combination of file formats and bit depth as required and pack everything into folder structure ready to zip and upload.
