During my job as a Freelancer for Historic VR, One of first task assigned to me was, processing provided scan data in accordance with the specifications. The input data for South Wall was a 37 million polygon model with 8x8k textures, which was converted into a VR-friendly model with manual created UV's.
Asset placement was in less visible area, resulting in lower scan clean up requirements with the focus on the removal of plants and the repair of missing geometry and textures.
