Video recorded to help and give suggestions to fresh photogrammetry members

That one was a quick shoe scan for Creative Shrimp challenge #1 - more just to help others who just started with photogrammetry, than create top quality model.
Scan was done quite automatically with electronic turntable and interval picture shoot model.
Main goal for that project was to capture general shoe shape and apply seam-free materials created with Substance Sampler (leather and inside of shoe - leather material, was mixed with surface details), from closeup pictures taken with Nikkor 105mm.
Shoe itself was quite shiny and featureless surface, so instead covering it with dust, decided pick different, more lazy way - as example that photogrammetry is just tool and we can be creative to reach our goal :)
After competition, decided that model would be great to place it in my portfolio - to nice to just delete it from disk (even as quick and dirty scan). I started re-watching product photography tutorials (strongly suggest "Phlearn Pro" tutorials) and learning substance Sampler even more after seeing how nice results I can get (Pablo Muñoz Gómez made excellent "Adobe 3D tools WORKSHOP" series on youtube).
To create final scene I used Quixel megascan ground material, plant, Substance sampler to create clay pot, Sketchfab wardrobe model (that was so bad quality, I remade it in zbrush ), and new scatter tool in Maverick render. Second and third render was result of product photography tutorials that I was watching - not only I was try use light to show model features, but some significant fixes in post with Affinity Photo/Photoshop.

Overall, it was really interesting project to work with, definitly something new compare to rocks, pumpkins and ruins - and my first "Shoe" ;) As always, simple project become something way bigger.
